The theme for this year’s National Apprenticeship Week (8-14 February) is ‘Build the Future’, and Seetec Outsource is celebrating the unsung heroes of Britain’s fight to keep industry moving and people safe throughout the Covid-19 pandemic.
Freight and logistics apprentices have played a key role over the past year, keeping their careers and the country moving forward while helping businesses to ‘Build the Future’.
We interviewed four freight forwarding apprentices who have continued learning while supporting vital business operations, despite the challenges of lockdown and ongoing public health restrictions.
Karen Palfreyman, Seetec Employee Trustee Director, said: “The freight and logistics industry has been absolutely critical throughout the pandemic, and our learners have really risen to that challenge.
“They have continued their learning despite lockdown, new ways of working, social distancing restrictions and moving to online learning. They have overcome all of the challenges that those changes have brought.
“In doing that they have helped their businesses to thrive, and their country to build back better.”
