We’re delighted to announce that six of our apprentices have been shortlisted for the British International Freight Association (BIFA) annual Freight Service Awards, five of them in the ‘Apprentice of the Year’ category and another for the ‘Young Freight Forwarder’ award.

The awards, which are now in their fourth decade, are recognised as among the most prestigious in the industry. They reward and celebrate high standards and professionalism, and provide finalists and winners with a valuable opportunity to enhance their individual and company profiles.

Five of the six finalists in the ‘Apprentice of the Year’ category have been supported by Seetec Outsource: Chloe Hamlett (Charles Kendall Freight); Eloise Hill (DHL Global Forwarding); Stuart Lupton (DHL Global Forwarding); Ben Milligan (DHL Global Forwarding) and Harry Wilson (Ligentia UK)

Another Seetec Outsource apprentice – Beckie Vallance (Geodis) – has been shortlisted in the ‘Young Freight Forwarder’ category.

Nikki Bardsley, Director of Apprenticeship Operations at Seetec Outsource said: “We’re proud of all our finalists who have gone above and beyond to support their employers and continue learning during what has been an immensely challenging year.

“They thoroughly deserve the recognition these awards have afforded them, and we are confident that their apprenticeship training will stand them in good stead as they progress to the next stage of their career.”

Due to Covid-19 this year’s Freight Service Awards competition will be a unique, pre-recorded digital event to be posted on the BIFA YouTube and Vimeo channels during the week commencing 18 January 2021. You can find out more about the awards here.
