Programme overview:

Designed for aspiring accounting professionals, this programme will help you build the skills you need to work within practice or within the finance function of an organisation.

Providing support to internal and external customers, you’ll learn how to manage day-to-day financial activities and assist with month-end management accounts and/or year-end financial statements. You might also get in involved in regulatory financial requirements, including the completion of VAT returns and preparing tax computations.

Professional recognition and certification:

There are no mandatory qualifications for this programme, although some employers may embed the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Accounting.

If you have less accounts experience you will also complete the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) Foundation Certificate in Bookkeeping.

You’ll be eligible to apply for professional membership of the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) when you successfully complete this programme.
