JOB TITLE: Apprentice Customer Service Move Team Member

JOB PURPOSE:

  • Key member of the removal team able to take direction from the Move Team Leader or Move Controller and support the team ensuring the job is completed on time and to the customer’s satisfaction
  • Working on local and national moves, you will be part of a team responsible for ensuring that every move is carried out safely, efficiently and to a high standard
  • You will be responsible for loading and unloading household effects, packing, assembling and dissembling furniture as required

Successful candidates must be punctual, polite, honest and take pride in their appearance

You will be willing to work hard work as the role has a physical aspect to it, including manual handling and heavy lifting

Pickfords take pride in their customer service record and expect all staff to maintain a high standard of conduct with customers throughout the move

You will be working towards a Customer Service Practitioner Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard supported by Pickfords & Seetec. You will also attend a range of other training courses as required by Pickfords.

On completion of the Customer Service Level 2 Apprenticeship you will be given the opportunity to progress onto a LGV Level 2 Apprenticeship which on completion will allow you to drive LGV (Class 2) vehicles and progress to a Move Team Leader role.
