We’re delighted to announce that Seetec Outsource apprentice Thomas Low, from supply chain company OIA Global has won the British International Freight Association (BIFA) Apprentice of the Year 2022 award.  The Special Recognition award went to Kelly Bell, from freight forwarding company Good Logistics.

The awards, which are now in their 34th year, are recognised as among the most prestigious in the industry. They reward and celebrate high standards and professionalism and provide finalists and winners with a valuable opportunity to enhance their individual and company profiles.

Both apprentices were nominated by their line managers after recently completing their Level 3 International Freight Forwarding Specialist apprenticeship with award winning training provider Seetec Outsource. They both stood out as apprentices who had made a real difference to their organisation.

Many our apprentices were shortlisted for the Awards, with six of them in the ‘Apprentice of the Year’ category and others in line for the ‘Young Freight Forwarder’ award.

It was also a night to celebrate for Thomas Frost, who was the winner of the Young Freight Forwarder of the Year Award. Thomas had previously completed an apprenticeship with Seetec Outsource and has continued to excel in his career in freight forwarding.

Lloyd De Val, Director of Sector Skills at Seetec Outsource said: “These outstanding apprentices are leading the way in showcasing the rewards of apprenticeship training.  Despite the very challenging year for many working in transport and logistics, they have gone above and beyond to make a real difference to their employer.  A well-deserved congratulations to Tom and Kelly as well as the finalists who we’re all extremely proud of who have shown great effort and determination throughout their apprenticeship.”
