On the 3rd and 4th July, Seetec Outsource joined with North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) to deliver prizes to two schools in Greater Manchester, Manchester Communication Primary Academy and St Hugh of Lincoln RC Primary. Each child was given a goodie bag by NWAS for their participation and they were also delighted to see PandaMedic, the official NWAS mascot, make an appearance.

The schools were rewarded for their winning entries in the “Innovators of the Future” competition, which involved the children designing posters to encourage people to turn off the lights in the workplace and to design a green space at one of the NWAS stations. This competition has formed part of Seetec Outsource’s commitment to deliver social value within Greater Manchester as part of the Skills for Growth Blue Light Academy Programme.

The aim was to encourage schoolchildren to think creatively about environmental issues and the winner was Noah, who received a new tablet and a number of books with further environment-based activities for his brilliantly designed poster.

Teybha Shauket, Team Administrator for the Blue Light Academy, attended the visits and said the following: “The visits to both schools to present the prizes for entering the competition in collaboration with NWAS was great. The children loved seeing Panda Medic and receiving the gifts/prizes. Just to see the smile on the children’s faces was beyond words. It was a lovely way to spend two afternoons!”
